Who we are

Babibond Limited is a Hong Kong company, business registration 66730324. We publish babibond.com, a site of essays about parenting, childhood, learning, and growing up. We also operate Babibond Keyword Research, an internal SEO tool described below.

The website

You can read every essay without creating an account, without signing in, and without giving us your name or email. The contact page is a mailto link. It does not submit a form to our servers.

From ordinary visits, the site handles the following:

• Google Analytics. The site uses Google Analytics 4. It records a page view with the page path, page location, and page title, so we can see which essays are read and how people reach the site. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies, including cookies such as _ga, to distinguish browsers. We do not use Analytics to identify you by name.
• Hosting logs. The site is served through Cloudflare. Cloudflare may record standard request logs, which can include IP address, browser user agent, and the page requested, for security and delivery. We do not use those logs to identify readers.
• Comments, only if you choose to send one. You can leave a comment on an essay. Details are in the Comments section.

We do not sell visitor information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not ask visitors to connect a Google account. This website itself does not call the Google Ads API.

Cookies

The site does not set its own login or preference cookies. There is no cookie-consent wall. Google Analytics sets the cookies described above.

You can block these cookies in your browser settings, use a tracker-blocking extension, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The essays remain available either way. Google’s own privacy policy describes how Google handles Analytics data.

Comments

Comments are optional. If you submit one, we store the display name you type, the comment, the essay it belongs to, and the time it was sent. An email address is optional. It is kept for moderation and is never shown on the site. Approved comments show the display name, the comment, and the date. Rejected comments are not shown. A comment stays unpublished until it is approved.

We do not store your IP address with the comment. For abuse prevention, a one-way hash of the connection is kept in a separate rate-limit record and deleted after two hours. The same connection can submit only a few comments an hour.

The comment form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce automated submissions. Cloudflare may process that check under its own privacy policy. Comment records are stored in a Cloudflare database used only for this site. There is no public account, and you do not sign in to comment.

Comments are kept so they can be moderated and, if approved, displayed, until we delete them. Email support@babibond.com to ask us to remove a comment you submitted.

Babibond Keyword Research and Google user data

Babibond Keyword Research is Babibond Limited’s internal SEO tool. A public explanation of its purpose is on this page and in the About Babibond section of the homepage. It is not a feature visitors sign in to. Only the company owner’s own Google account authorises it.

Data accessed

The tool requests the Google Ads API scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords. It uses that scope read-only, with Babibond Limited’s own Google Ads manager account, to look up keyword search volumes in Keyword Planner. The Google user data it receives is:

• Google Ads account data required to run those Keyword Planner queries on the company’s own manager account.
• Keyword search volumes returned by Keyword Planner for the queries the company runs.
• OAuth tokens for that single authorising Google account.

The tool does not collect this data from visitors of babibond.com. It does not access other people’s Google accounts.

How it is used

Search volumes are used only to plan content on Babibond Limited's own websites. The tool does not run or manage ads for others. It does not create, edit, pause, or remove campaigns, ads, bids, budgets, or audiences. It does not use Google user data for advertising, retargeting, credit decisions, or to identify website visitors.

What it does not do

Babibond Keyword Research does not use Google user data to train general-purpose AI models. It does not use Google APIs for AI-generated non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII), or for any other AI image generation.

Limited Use

Babibond Keyword Research's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

In practice, that means Google user data from the tool is used only for the keyword-planning purpose described here. It is not sold. It is not transferred to third parties, except to Google as part of calling the Google Ads API. It is not used to serve advertisements. People at Babibond Limited read keyword volumes only to plan the company’s own content, which the authorising user permits by connecting the account. The authorising user can revoke access at any time.

Storage

OAuth tokens and retrieved keyword data are stored securely by Babibond Limited for the internal tool. They are not placed on the public website, and they are not combined with Analytics cookies or essay comments.

Retention, deletion, and revocation

Keyword data is retained only while it is needed for internal content planning, and tokens are retained only while the tool stays authorised. When the data is no longer needed, Babibond Limited deletes it.

The authorising user can revoke Babibond Keyword Research at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. After revocation, the tool can no longer retrieve new Google data. To ask us to delete stored tokens or keyword lookups, email carllee1113@gmail.com.

Other Babibond apps

Arleemato, RunningRabbit, and Arleeledger are separate apps. Each may have its own in-app privacy practices. Review the privacy information on its App Store listing or inside the app. Those apps are not Babibond Keyword Research, and they are not the Google Ads integration described above. Password-reset pages linked from those apps’ own email messages are not a sign-in for this website.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information, and we do not sell or share Google user data. Service providers that process data for the practices above are:

• Google, for Google Analytics on this website and, separately, for the Google Ads API calls made by Babibond Keyword Research.
• Cloudflare, for hosting the website, Turnstile, and comment storage.

Links to other sites, including the Apple App Store and the company’s other websites, are governed by those sites’ own policies once you leave babibond.com.
